Intermediate to Advanced Deer Hunter Training Course

This 3 day training course will cover,

 

•         Planning a hunt

•         Where and when to look for deer

•         Reading and interpreting deer sign

•         Hunting techniques and tactics

•         Hunting gear and equipment

•         Reading weather conditions

•         Deer biology

•         Tracking deer (before and after a shot)

•         The use of optics

•         Hunting with a gun dog

•         Photography and videography

•         Bush craft / Survival

 

The course will be held at a school camp in Northeast Victoria adjacent to prime sambar and fallow deer habitat. It will run from 10am on a Friday to 4pm on a Sunday.

The course will be limited to 6 participants at a cost of $1200-00 each. This fee will cover accommodation, course notes, all meals and drinks (wine and heavy and light beer) if desired and transportation for practical sessions.

The structure of the course will be both practical and theory sessions from the course notes with extensive field trips for hands on experience.
